WHAT IS A
MICRODERMABRASIAN
Microdermabrasion is a deeply effective yet simple and least disruptive treatment to renew your skin by buffing away the dead skin cells. It can help improve surface texture and very superficial fine lines, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation and skin texture, clogged or enlarged pores, post acne marks, excessive oil, and dry skin. Microdermabrasion also has the ability to trigger increased levels of collagen and elastin to allow better absorption of skincare products. The end result reveals newer, healthier cells, giving your face a more youthful glow.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A Microdermabrasion tool has a variable flow of vacuum suction to maintain contact with the skin whilst the crystals (or diamond tips) smooth and buff the skin's surface. The treatment feels like a mild scratching. Most clients say they do not experience any discomfort. But don't be put off by the word 'scratching,’ that just means you can just feel the suction of the vacuum as it glides over your skin. It's a little more apparent in certain areas, such as your cheeks and around your nose, where you're a little fleshier. Overall, it's a super-fast and non-invasive treatment with zero downtime.
