Extensions fall into three categories: volume, classic, and hybrid. If you want to make a big impact, choose volume lashes. If you want everyday lashes, classic is your best option. WHAT TO EXPECT Before you begin, the stylist will ask you questions about your health and lifestyle to make sure extensions are suitable for you. Once the application process starts, you will be lying on your back with your eyes closed for the next hour or two. Many people find the experience so relaxing that they fall asleep. The stylist will first brush and clean your eyelashes. To keep your lower lashes from sticking to the upper lashes, the stylist will cover them with medical tape or a gel patch. Your lash artist may also tape your upper eyelid to hold it in place. Now you are ready to receive the first lash extension. The stylist will separate one of your eyelashes from the others using specialized tweezers. Adhesive is then applied to the extension which is bonded directly to natural lash, never to skin.
