  • LASH EXTENSIONS | Simply Flawless

Lash Extensions in Monroe BOOK NOW Are You Interested in Eyelash Extensions? Eyelashes are an important part of one’s appearance. If you are unhappy with the thickness or length of your lashes, you may feel insecure or uncomfortable in your own skin. Luckily, with Simply Flawless Beauty Co., you can increase your self-confidence with luxurious, beautiful-looking lash extensions. Book your lash extension appointment at our Monroe eyelash salon today! Book Now Microbading What are Lash Extensions? Lash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic faux mink fibers used to add length, fullness, and lift to your natural lashes. Unlike false eyelashes, where the strip or individual lashes are applied directly to the skin, lash extensions are attached to the lash itself using a specially-formulated, semi-permanent glue. You can customize the thickness and length of your lash extensions to your specific face and eye shape for the exact effect you crave. Our expert lash technicians will consult with you to determine if you are a good candidate for eyelash extensions and, if so, what type suits you. BOOK NOW Powder Brow Types of Lash Extensions At Simply Flawless Beauty Co., our experienced lash artists specialize in the following types of lash extensions: 01 Classic Lash Extensions If you want to elevate your everyday look, you can’t go wrong with our classic lash extensions. Classic Lashing is a technique in which the lash artist applies a single extension to each isolated natural lash. The results are beautiful and timeless, perfect for someone wanting to subtly enhance their natural appearance. 03 Mega Volume Lash Extensions Think volume…. only bigger! 02 Volume Lash Extensions If you want to make a big impact - volume lash extensions are for you. Volume Lashing is a technique used to achieve a fuller, fluffier look. With this method, anywhere between 3-8 super fine extensions are fanned out and applied to a single natural lash. Enjoy voluminous, thick lashes that make your eyes pop. 04 Hybrid Lash Extensions Hybrid lash extensions are the perfect option for someone wanting the best of both worlds. Combining classic and volume extensions, they are ideal for achieving a more lush, dense appearance. What to Expect From Your Lash Extension Appointment When you enter the Simply Flawless Beauty Co. Salon in Monroe, your lash technician will greet you out at the front and usher you into our studio rooms. Then, before the application starts, they will need to ask a few questions about your health and lifestyle to ensure extensions are suitable for you. After verifying that they are right for you, your lash technician will have you lie down on your back for the duration of the application - some of our clients even drift off to sleep! Now it is time for the application to begin. Your lash technician will first brush and clean your natural eyelashes. They will cover your lower lashes with medical tape or a gel patch to keep them from sticking to the upper lashes. Your lash artist may also tape your upper eyelid to hold it in place. Now that you are fully prepped, your lash technician will apply your first set of lash extensions by separating your eyelashes using specialized tweezers. The adhesive is then applied to the extension, which is bonded directly to the natural lash, never to the skin. Once your lash technician has completed all the lashes on one of your eyes, they will repeat the process on the other eye. You will receive the same number of lashes on each side for an even appearance. Expect your lash extension appointment to last anywhere from 1-2 hours. Combo Brow PRECARE & AFTERCARE Eyelash Extension Pre-care Before your eyelash extension appointment here at Simply Flawless Beauty in Monroe, there are a few things you can do to ensure you get the most out of your service: Consult with your physician before your lash application appointment if you are pregnant, taking medication, suffer from any medical conditions or allergies, or recovering from any medical procedures. Do not apply heavy creams, lotions, sunscreen, or oils to your face within 48 hours before your lash application. Do not receive chemical treatments to your lashes, such as tinting and perming, within 48 hours before your lash application appointment. Shower before you arrive because you cannot get extensions wet for 48 hours. Wear comfortable clothing as you will be lying down for an extended period. Remove contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment. Do not curl your lashes on the day of your lash application. Limit caffeine intake 2 hours before the appointment. Eyelash Extension After-care You can resume basic makeup application as well as your regular lifestyle routine immediately after your eyelash extension application. However, to ensure a flexible, longer-lasting bond between the extensions and your natural lashes, and to minimize potential irritation or adverse reactions, avoid the following activities within the first 3 hours: Exposure to excessive sweat, water, or humidity from activities such as showering, swimming, hot yoga, exercise, sauna, etc. Tanning (outside, tanning bed, airbrush, or spray tanning). Contact lens insertion. Note: Only use specially formulated eyelash extension-compatible products to maximize your eyelash extension longevity. The following activities will weaken adhesive bonds and result in premature eyelash extension loss: Use of waterproof cosmetics on or near extended eyelashes, such as waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner. Use of mechanical or heated curlers. Excessive application of heavy moisturizers, lotions, or facial oils that come in contact with your extended lashes. Excessive mascara application Subjecting your extended lashes to friction. Rubbing eyes. Picking or pulling on extended eyelashes. Eyelash tinting or perming extended lashes – perm or tint natural lashes prior to receiving eyelash extensions. To prevent damage to your eyelash extensions, take precautions with the following procedures: Chemical peels. Skin resurfacing procedures. Facial treatments and facial massages that come in direct contact with the eye area. Do NOT apply mascara or any Protective Coating to prevent your Hybrid or Volume extended lashes from clumping or losing volume. Contraindications Lash Extension Contraindications Lash extensions are easy to care for; the only significant aftercare requirement is that your lashes must stay dry for 48 hours. However, they aren't ideal for some. A small population of people is unsuitable candidates for eyelash extensions. If you’re predisposed to any of the medical conditions listed below, it’s mandatory to seek your doctor’s advice before booking a lash extension appointment here at Simply Flawless Beauty in Monroe: Eyelid Dermatitis, Blepharitis, Trichotillomania, Alopecia Areata, Conjunctivitis, madarosis, trichiasis, glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, or any other contagious skin conditions on or around the eyes or eyelids. Any history of allergies to latex, benzoic acid, cyanoacrylates, or other ingredients involved in eyelash treatment. Using prescribed medicated eye drops or ointment for any of the conditions mentioned above. You should also avoid lash extensions if you are experiencing any of the following: A reaction to patch test (which should be performed at least 24h prior to treatment.) Lash extensions are not for those who plan to or have undergone certain procedures and treatments such as LASIK, radiation, etc.: Laser eye surgery - at least 4 months gap should be left due to oversensitive eyes and possible medications a client is on. Eyelash perming - at least 3 months gap should be left, otherwise, lashes may not last as long. Chemotherapy - at least 6 months gap should be left, otherwise, lashes may not last as long due to a number of medications that can affect lashes or eyes. • LASH AND BROW TINTING | Simply Flawless

Lash & Brow Tints BOOK NOW LASH TINTING WHAT IS IT Think of eyelash tinting as a semi-permanent dye job for your lashes. The dye itself is similar to what you use on your hair, but is specifically developed to be safe around the eye area. The dye will intensify your natural lashes by darkening them and making them look more defined. It has the added benefit of making lashes look instantly thicker, without 100 coats of mascara. Unlike mascara, it also lasts quite a long time. Eyelash tints usually last about four weeks. The tint itself shouldn’t fade, but as your lashes fall out and new un-tinted lashes grow in their place. WHAT TO EXPECT Lash tinting is fast and painless. To start the process, the technician will put a pad under your eyes to protect your skin. Then the dye is applied to your lower lashes first, followed by the top. It only takes about 10 minutes for the dye to absorb into the hairs. From start to finish, the whole thing takes 40 minutes maximum to achieve the desired tint. Many clients combine a lash tint with a lash lift to enhance their results. Lifts last up to eight weeks long. Another option is to combine a lash tint with lash extensions. Every person has a slightly different rate of hair growth, so you have to wait and see how long your results will last. BROW TINTING WHAT IS IT Eyebrow tinting is a technique used to semi-permanently color brow hairs to define, shape, and enhance your natural brows. It also leaves a stain of color on the skin that helps to fill in thinner spaces within the brow. The stain on the skin lasts approximately one week while the actual color on the hair strands will grow out over the course of two to four weeks. The tint color is customized to suit your skin complexion and hair color. WHAT TO EXPECT To start, your artist will prep / clean the brow area and mix a custom shade specifically for you. The dye is applied and left on for several minutes, but the exact time will depend on the result desired: Longer for more intense, darker brows and shorter for a lighter effect. But overall the process usually takes about 15 minutes. PRECARE Before getting your eyelashes and/or eyebrows tinted you will want to remove any makeup. If you wear contact lenses you will want to remove them as well to avoid irritation. AFTERCARE How long your color will last also depends on how well you take care of your lashes and brows. For the best, longest-lasting results keep the tinted area dry for 48 hours after your treatment to allow the dye to absorb fully. Do not wash your face or apply makeup during this time. Ultimately, your tint will last longer if you minimize the amount of contact your lashes have with water. Try to avoid any excessive rubbing or scrubbing of the area to extend the life of the tint. if you regularly use exfoliants/scrubs, AHA or BHA-based products, the tint may not last as usual. Exfoliants encourage cell turnover, which means the dye tends to fade at a faster rate. Use only oil-free makeup, cleansers, and creams to avoid stripping the dye out. Minimize chlorine and sun exposure to prolong your tint. A lot of sun exposure can also fade your lashes so wear sunglasses when you outside. The overall goal is just to preserve as many hairs as possible. CONTRAINDICATIONS Lash and brow tints are typically safe for just about everyone, however there are certain circumstances that do prevent us from performing these services: If you have skin conditions like eczema or a skin infection Currently have any cuts, scrapes, bruises, or open wounds on or around the eyelash or brow area Have a history of allergic reactions to dye/tints (including hair dye) PRICING Lash Tint ....................................................... $20 Brow Tint ...................................................... $20 BOOK NOW treat yourself LET US TAKE CARE OF YOU BOOK APPOINITMENT

  • Fibroblast Skin Tightening | Simply Flawless

Fibroblast Skin Tightening in Monroe BOOK NOW Are You Interested in Skin Tightening Treatment? At Simply Flawless Beauty Co, we specialize in Fibroblast Skin Tightening for anyone looking to repair and tighten loose skin. Our experienced estheticians and skin care specialists have meticulously refined their plasma pen work over the years in order to deliver top-quality results that transform our client's skin for the better. Book your Fibroblast Skin Tightening treatment at our Monroe salon today! Book Now What is Fibroblast Skin Tightening? Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that utilizes plasma gas to non-surgically repair and tighten loose skin. Our skin is made up of fibroblasts that eventually break down over time. Many skin treatments only treat collagen and elastin (which are free-floating within the fibroblasts), temporarily plumping them up. Our Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening procedure goes deeper into the skin to hit those fibroblasts and “blast” them apart. As these fibroblasts heal, the skin repairs and tightens itself. This treatment is used to improve wrinkles, fine lines, stretch marks, skin resurfacing, acne scars, surgical scars, and loose skin. It is considered a long-term solution compared to fillers as it permanently repairs the skin with minimal harm and minimal discomfort during recovery time. Overall, it is one of the best ways to repair damaged skin, as you only need one to four treatments to see results, and you do not have to resort to surgery. What to Expect From Your Fibroblast Skin Tightening Procedure Before your Fibroblast Skin Tightening Treatment, one of our trained estheticians will analyze your skin and discuss your areas of concern - whether that be surgical scars, fine lines, or stretch marks. This allows us to understand what you hope to treat and provides you with detailed information about this treatment and its results. Before your Fibroblast Skin Tightening procedure, your esthetician will apply a topical anesthetic to your skin to prevent discomfort or pain. Then they will use a plasma pen to generate a plasma charge to the skin 0.5 mm away (there is no direct contact with the skin). This causes a minor, controlled burn visible as a tiny dot (plasma spot). The contraction of the skin around each spot creates an immediate tightening and repair of the treated area. Furthermore, the heat from the plasma pen spreads throughout the region and stimulates the body to create fibroblasts, collagen, and elastin fibers, leading to lasting plumping and tightening of the skin. PRECARE & AFTERCARE Fibroblast Skin Tightening Pre-care Before your Plasma Fibroblast Skin Treatment, we highly recommend following our pre-care instructions to avoid any possible complications or unwanted side effects: Be in Good Health. In order for your body to be at its most optimal healing stage, you should avoid any treatments if you are sick (Cold, Flu, etc.), or suffer from any uncontrolled illness (Diabetes, Cancer, etc.). Accutane. You should not use Accutane for 6-12 months before your treatment. Allergies. You should not be allergic to numbing creams, especially -caines (Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Xylocaine, etc.), as this will be used to numb the treatment areas(s). Two weeks prior to your Fibroblast Skin Tightening treatment: Avoid the sun as much as possible and use sunscreen on a daily basis. Stop the use of all Retinols, including Retin A, Tazorac, and “anti-aging” products. Stop the use of all glycolic or salicylic acid treatments in the areas(s) being treated. Do not wax the area(s) being treated. Do not use any abrasive scrubs/exfoliants in the area(s) being treated. Stop microdermabrasion treatments in the area(s) being treated. If you suffer from Herpes or Cold Sores, start your viral medications at least 1 week prior to the appointment. 24 hours prior to your Fibroblast Skin Tightening Treatment: No Alcohol. No Aspirin. No Coffee the morning of your appointment. Fibroblast Skin Tightening Aftercare What to expect after your Fibroblast Skin Tightening procedure and our aftercare instructions: Immediately after treatment, you will have a mild sensation similar to a sunburn that should dissipate within the day. As a natural healing response, it is normal for the treated area to become swollen. This could last anywhere from 2-8 days. An anti-inflammatory may be used, such as Ibuprofen, if really needed, however, inflammation is necessary to the healing and tightening process, so only use it if necessary. Sometimes, there can be minimal leaking of lymph fluid the first day or two. If this happens, just blot the area with a tissue. There will be a light to deep crust that forms over the skin of the treated area. DO NOT pick the treated area. This WILL cause scarring, infection, and/or pigmentation of that area. It is important to keep the area clean and sanitary. DO NOT touch the treated area. You will use a mild cleanser twice a day with clean hands. No makeup or anything to cover the area until the crust has fallen off, as this could lead to infection. There should be NOTHING applied to the treatment area except the aftercare given. No extra creams or ointments other than what’s given. Until the crusts fall off, all saunas, tanning beds, sun exposure, swimming, and exercising should be avoided. Getting the crusts wet will cause them to come off prematurely, too much heat can make you hyper-pigment, and sweat will sweat out toxins on that healing area. After two weeks, you may spray tan. Fibroblast Skin Tightening Contraindications Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening is not suitable for the following individuals: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Have any metal plates, pins, or other implants. Diagnosed with any Cardiovascular deficiencies, including severe uncontrolled blood pressure. • DERMAPLANNING | Simply Flawless

Dermaplaning BOOK NOW WHAT IS DERMAPLANING Dermaplaning is a procedure in which the skin is manually exfoliated to remove dead skin buildup and fine hairs. It’s different from shaving because the intent is to improve the appearance of the skin as opposed to the removal of hair. Dermaplaning makes the skin smoother, softer, and brighter. It can help reveal healthy skin beneath dead skin cell layers. Allows make-up to sit flawlessly and skincare products to better permeate, leaving your skin looking vibrant and fresh If you’re looking for a great exfoliating treatment—and want something manual versus chemical (like a peel ) then this procedure is for you. It is a great exfoliating option for all skin types. It’s also a good option for pregnant women or those with sensitive skin. About WTE WHAT TO EXPECT Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical scalpel specially designed for the face to remove the top layer of dead skin. Before your dermaplane treatment begins, we will thoroughly cleanse your face. Next your esthetician will gently pull your skin tightly and lightly while gliding the blade at a 45-degree angle in an upward motion using delicate, feathering strokes. The procedure is completely painless.
